yes - scam!!!!!

They claim to be Windows support and have called me multiple times. At first I told them to go eff themselves but decided after that to have fun with them. I saved the number in my contacts and now whenever they call I answer with an Indian accent "Microsoft Security Essentials" My name is Rajha...they hang up.

If you receive a call from this number - "Windows Technical Support" stating they have details related to issues on your computer, do not provide them any information and ask to have your number removed and that they do not contact you again. Report them to the FTC. They are trying to obtain money by providing "services" to protect your computer. There is nothing wrong with your computer, they have no details or information about your computer. I have tech services through Apple. I have never had an outside service for assistance. The agents didn't know what type of laptop I had, but somehow thought telling me they could help me with issues my computer wasn't having would make me pay them. When I asked their company name, they repeated "windows technical services" over and over. When I asked their company address I was hung up on. When they informed me my windows computer had issues and I said I didn't have a windows computer they hung up on me. THIS IS A SCAM. Report them.

The number has called many times, no name on the caller ID. I did not answer, they do not leave a voice mail. Very pesty at all hours and we have an unlisted number.

I just got a call and said they were from Windows support. I told him to just take his spyware crap off my computer and leave me alone. I know this was a scam. Hung up on him

Have heard of this scam before, but this is the first time I got a call, “This is Jenny from Microsoft” –then call was abruptly dropped. As for East Indian accents, they probably throw that in to sound more like the actual Microsoft campus, as anyone who’s been there can understand! So much for bringing back jobs. Block them and don’t call back any number, since that can put huge and fraudulent charges on some phone accounts.
Note to MTE: They use random number generation software to program outgoing calls, so not even unpublished ones are safe.

What is creepy is that they first called my cell, hung up on me, THEN called my home number! How is that possible that they have that kind of info on me? My fb is private, and numbers are unpublished, and not on the web ANYWHERE!!

7th garbage call today. All scams!! its so sad that we have to contend with cancer in our home and then to tolerate this garbage calling all day long!! hope what goes around hits them in the behind and they can see how degrading and depressing it gets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received call on my cell phone from 206-317-7361. I was on the other line and didn't answer. No ID information came up, just the phone number. When I call the number back, no one answered. Glad I looked on here. I have now blocked the number.

These fraudulent tech support scammers have attempted to contact me on numerous occasions and I want them permanently stopped!!

This is a Total Scam for all who said they were happy with their service--What are you talking about. I hope you did not give them any money.
How can anyone see what is going on is someone else's computer??? without be remotely logged in.

I got the service and Im very happy with it, they struggled a bit with the English lang but it was ok, they did have bad mics and static but they fixed it when i asked.
