Mark just called said he was from the State Attorneys office and he had a law suit filed on my social security number and was going to notify my family and employer with this information if I didnt give him $300.00 for something I never heard of. So I told him to bring it on and I made a complaint against him. He is a joke.

They call with recorded messages and threats about releasing information, reporting to authorities for anything. It sounds like the same tax scam.

Mark Brown has called me numerous times saying he was calling about a lawsuit filed against me.He asked info about my address and email and I told him to stop trying to scam me and that if he were going to sue me he should know all of the info about me. This was a few weeks ago. Then he called again last Friday and left a message saying he would be contacting my job, family and references about money I owe through my SS number. After finding this site I'll block the number.

Same here. This time it was a Mr. Ferguson from the Washington State AG's Office. Has anyone reported this to that state's AG?

Mark Brown also called me and left a message stating he was with the Washington State Attorney General's Office and a lawsuit is going to me filed against me and my social security number. called Mr. Brown back and het told me I owed on a payday loan for $450 and how did I want to settle this. I asked him who the creditor was and he replied I cannot tell you this. I asked a few more questions and again he asked how I wanted to handle this. What Mr. Brown did not know is that I am a retired law enforcement investigator with several contacts all over the US within law enforcement. I have contacted the Washington State Attorney Generals office to file a formal complaint. I am going to make this a major effort to shut these people down. If anyone can share more info would be great.

I got the same voice mail and I haven't called back. I get about 10 calls a day from automated lines so much that I do not even answer my phone if I do not know the number anymore

I received a call stating they were going to put a warrant out for my arrest call my employer and it was a foreign due that I could not understand

I received the same call. Mark Brown from "some" state attorney general office telling me that there is a lawsuit filed against my SS # and name. He never said who the call was for but threatened me by telling me that if I failed to return the call that my employer, family, and references would be contacted.

Please do not fall for this because it is a scam call. Do not give out any information about youself to whomever is making these calls simplu hang up. Not worth your time. I do not answer any calls that I do not recognize anymore. I let the phone ring til they hang up.

What a bunch of idiots! When I called them back, I told them I filed chapter 7 on it to see what they would say, and he said okay be ready for the consequences and hung up on me. How funny! So, you really expect to be taken serious when a real law office would ask questions. I called back and asked him why did he hang up on me. He just said okay thank you. I said well I called the police on y'all scammers! He said thank you and hung up. Wow! Dumb***! I hope no one has fell for this!

Yes I receive calls from these ignorant people. Never stating what state he is the state attorney for. His name is Mark brown. This is the first time that it was an automated voice message. I have never received any text messages from him I wish I would I would like to tell him to go to hell

I received a text message stating that I will have a law suit against my name and social security number. The text was not professional at all, it was from "Jeff Fogen from the Sate Attorney General Office". I just texted back and said "No thank you, nice try". These scammers are ridiculous!!!

Loy Davis just sent a text stating that I needed to return his call regarding a lawsuit against my name and social security number. I texted back and said this is being reported to the police. His response was OK.

I received the same voice mail on my phone from same person, Mark Brown, stating he was from State Attorney General Office and stated I had a legal complaint/lawsuit pending. The never mention name of person they are calling for.....very interesting!! Bunch of thieves!!

Received robotic voice message from this number claiming to be Mark Brown from the State Attorney General office. Claims there is a Law Suit against me and I or my Attorney needed to contact him immediately or next they would be contacting my place of employment or my family members. Caller ID listed Seattle Washington. Have received this call in the past but I never called back. The number was (206) 701-7426

i got the phone call and a text and he was threating me and he cussed me out so i told him to take his foreign scamming ass back where he came from and i hung up the phone and reported him
