Same call just got it, 3 serious alligations. Obvious scam bot, but would be nice to track the number to who is actually owning the bot.

I don't normally get calls like this.. But wow. Scared me. The voicemail said I have 4 serious crimes or something against me. And the cops will come get me. This is horrible. Plus I'm trying to watch my shows.

Same as everyone else. Knew it was a scam right away as the terminology did not match up. Cops are coming to arrest me...really

Same as everyone else, received a phone call and they left a voicemail saying 4 serious allegations and have 24 hours to contact 207-387-7039 or the cops would come arrest me...computer generated voice.

They had my name and address and said IRS would be here in 30 minutes if I disconnect the call. I'll take that risk. Hung up.

Looks like most people are dealing with recordings. I got lucky. When I called the number back, I got a live person. I threw up some objections and she was very good. She said, "Mr. B, are you listening to me? If either of us disconnects, law enforcement will be there with an arrest warrant within 30 minutes." Very smooth. (I'm a manager with IRS, and I'm not five years delinquent.)

Got a call from tris number yesterday sayingv the same thing. You Have 24hrs to contact the IRS before police are summoned and will be coming to arrest me if I didn't call 207.737.0739 and speak to someone regarding discrepancy on my return filling. So I used it tech to look it up and no IRS numbers im Maine match either number called from and the one given. Need to track these criminals!

Same as above. Fluent English isn't a big catch, as we live in the country that is filled with individuals from all over the world. Nonetheless, scam voicemail was similar to what everyone mentioned above.

I just received a phone call and they left a voicemail 2 minutes ago saying the same thing, 4 serious allegations, having 24 hours to get it resolved or the cops would come arrest me-- computer generated voice.

Scam. Said I have 4 different hits on my irs. If I didnt call to resolve in 24 working hours, Id be arrested. Not today sir lol

Same as other's above. It was left on my machine, so I missed the initial tag of who is coming after me! But they are sending the "cops"? Oh, come on, you would think criminals would at least try to get the terminology right!

If you listen to this carefully it is obvious it has been composed by one who is not fluent in the English language. Unfortunalely, many people will fall for this scam.
