Hung up without saying anything.

Received call @ 7:00 AM, Thanksgiving morning from 210-280-8487. The person said to hurry and turn on my computer because Microsoft was receiving urgent messages from my computer. He said he would help me to resolve the problem. I said that Microsoft ID did not show on my caller ID. He agreed stating that he was calling from a private #. So,n nnmI hung up and keeping receiving several calls, but the calls wete blocked

This one was good! Call started out with Hi Grandma! Crazy but I have a grandson (22 years old) in Texas, so I say Hey how are you. Call says Not so good, How are you doing? I say pretty good, my knee is healing well! I ask what is going on with him (I know this is not my grandson as my grandson is not Latino) and he goes on to say he was in a car accident last night and explains his injuries. I tell him I am sorry. Then he asks if I could send him some money to help fix his car and pay the hospital bill. I told him sure thing, no problem, how much, a couple thousand? He said great! I said you have answer one question first he said sure! I need you to explain first how you got that accent from your car accident before I can send you the money.....He hung up!

Whenever you hear YOU in the conversation, if they leave a message or talk on a live call, they do not know your name or else they would address who they are speaking to by your name. They are just calling random numbers thinking that they may get a live one who will give them a credit card number or else social security number. Then they can either have a very good time with your charge card or else steal your identity! If you have caller ID check the phone number out through the Internet then you will see that it is a scam. I feel bad for the elderly who do not have or like computers.... some of them are very vulnerable to scammers. If you have caller ID and do not recognize the phone number or else if it is Caller Unknown and or Number Unknown better to just not answer it. It seems like the authorities cannot do much about catching scammers for they always keep using a different phone number. Just wish everyone would learn how to work at a Real Job then they can make their own $! Always remember to NOT be a Victim! If you know that you are a outstanding citizen who has not done any wrong to anyone and are current on all bills NO police officer or magistrate judge is coming for you.

When you first answer the phone she tries to act like she knows you and if you are too hesitant and tries to be your friend acts like she knows you and keeps on saying oh I'm sorry I must be coming up as something different on the caller ID

Not know anybody in Texas and not answer phone. Answering system intercepted caller hung up. That is hallmark of telemarketers and scammers. Number has been reported to federal no call list.

Answered the phone...I heard a bleep similar to a Skype prompt, indicating it was a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) call, and more than likely an attempted SCAM. Must've not liked my voice because they hung up immediately!!! Called back and the number has been disconnected...Yip, it is a SCAMMER!!!

This is the 3rd time I'm reporting the same woman calling me re: my utility bill, just from a different phone number. She's been calling on/off for weeks on my home phone (which most likely she got from the yellow pages). She'll call and tell me she's representing my South Jersey Gas bill (although the phone numbers she calls from are in San Antonio, Texas). She has an Asian/Indian accent. I always ask her to put me on the DO NOT CALL list or that I'm not interested and she'll either say "Ma'am this is my first time calling you" or she'll just hang up on me. I've blocked 2 other numbers and low and behold, she's called from a third. My boyfriend has even cursed her out, told her flat out it's a scam and not to call us anymore, and she just hangs on the phone and has the nerve to say "Are you done yet? I'm trying to save you money". UGH! I can't take these people! I've reported it to the FCC, almost every website I can think of, posted it on Facebook, added my phone number to the DO NOT CALL list but NOTHING will get rid of her!!!!!!!!!!!!

caller keeps calling from this #, told my husband something about computer, my husband said he was not interested, then hung up. The man kept calling back, husband told him to stop so he called from an unknown caller. my husband again said NO.before it was over he called my husband a lier and a boxer, whatever that means, now they call numerous times a day, hanging up when you pick up and then keep calling back with in a minute from unknown caller, I believe there are 12 on there today, this is very annoying. And if it said it was a working # I would love to talk to talk to a supervisor or even higher, this man should never be allowed to have a phone in his hand.
