Called, they knew my name. Same IRS claim. She said I will be prosecuted.

Called and asked for me by name. There was a lot of noise in the background.Woman had Indian accent and said her name was Michele Barker. Did not give her ID #, I had to ask for it. Said there is an IRS case against me and was I aware of it. She then asked for me by pronoun Mr. (I am not a MR.). I asked for her supervisor, she briefly said hold on then told me he was in a meeting. I told her to have him call me when he is done.

I received a voicemail from this number claiming to be the Federal Investigation Department of the IRS. Her name was Brooks. She states that I have a claim against me and if I don't call back by the end of the day they will have to forward all the case files to the courthouse today .

Yep. An IRS scam. IRS only contacts by mail, never by phone. Guess these foreigners think we're idiots.

I just got a call from them and they said they are IRS Investigation dept. And they said IRS already sent me two letters regarding my tax reporting( which I never got , however, they have my correct home address ) and I failed to respond by due date. And they said I didn't use proper CPA or H&R Block and that's way I didn't do my tax properly ( I'm working as accounting manager .. maybe they didn't know that haha ) and they also mentioned that my foreign transactions were not filed and then at the end they mentioned the fine $7900 so I asked the local IRS office address and phone number then she almost screamed at me " we can send you an agent in 45 min if you want !! " and then hung up. I feel so bad for this scam call and they speck to you very fast so that you can't think or process what they're saying. omg.

Received several consecutive calls after we sent this guy to hell ( in a not so polite way). I guess he was very frustrated....
