Got an automated call from Cosmo from "your friend Joe" about two cars. 'Press one for Corvette, two for Ferrari.' I hung up on them. HERE'S WHAT TO DO: First, go to www.heycosmo.com and have your number blocked. Then go directly to https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx if your number is on the national Do Not Call list. Be sure to enter your number that the company called, the company number (302-336-7401) and Arsinal Interactive, Inc. as the company name (HeyCosmo is just a service that Arsinal Interactive, Inc. owns the intellectual property right to provide). This is a crock that this company should get away with this. Go block your number and report them to the national DNC list, it is our responsibility as consumers to fully and thoroughly report bad business practices. Oh and if you get another Hey Cosmo call, report them to the better business bureau! Taking action is so simple online, it is our civic duty despite any potential nay-sayers with a vested interest in this annoying marketing attemp.

This call was probably generated by a service "PRANKSTER" on the www.heycosmo.com a website owned by Arsenal Interactive, Inc. (650) 282-2900. This part of their business produces robo-calls to cell phone numbers on the "Do Not Call Registry" is not legitimate and they should be fined accordingly. They do have other legimate business services.
or
Their legal team at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (law firm at (650) 493-9300) should advise them to immediately stop making the unsolicited robo-calls. Mark or Anthony Pedia or his assistant, Lisa Jackson(x5012) are in charge of the Arsenal Interactive, Inc. account

Several people are concerned that their website heycosmo.com is being used by businesses to bypass the "Do Not Call Registry" to determine information about them and their cell phones.
(The main source of the problem may be the “PRANKSTER” service.)

This call from HeyCosmo.com came in twice. If you choose an option it will blast a horrible sound in your ear. I am on the do not call list so I registered two complaints there, then I went to the Better Business Bureau site and complained against the business there: http://sanjose.bbb.org/Consumers.aspx. This is more than a nuisance telemarketing caller, this is a company that is deliberately out to hurt your hearing.

Whatever you do, don't put your number in their block call web page, it only generates another phone call!

Numbers I was called from: 302-336-7401 and 302-336-7407

Called a bunch of times on mobile phone while I was in a meeting. Ignored it but thought it was an emergency due to repeated calling.

Then I searched for this number and read this caller is scum.

Just got a call from this number, 302-336-7401. No message was left, but I googled the number immediately to find out information, and I see this has been going on quite some time for others in the surrounding states. I have AT&T and have already registered my number on the Do Not Call list months ago. What I want to know is how these types of things keep happening. Not two months ago I was getting harrassment from another number. When I try to report it somewhere, I get a lot of law and government associates not taking me seriously. Where are the laws protecting the consumer these days? Anyone have any luck with reporting anywhere?

Got a call from this number on my cell phone in California- recorded male voice said " you got a cosmo blast from Jennifer - press 1 to retrieve it" Coincidently -I had talked to someone named Jennifer earlier in the evening and thought she was sending me some message. I hit "1" and a loud buzzing noise came thru my phone. I immediately hung up and it would not stop even when I hung up and closed my phone. I opened my phone back up and it was still buzzing. I had to turn my phone off to get rid of it???

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone and it was an automated voice saying that "a cosmic blast was on it's way".

When I called back, it was Hey Cosmo. Some weird contest related call.

I got this call from 302-336-7401. I answered it and then hung up after a few seconds of listening to it. But prior to this phone call (about 2 minutes) I noticed to guys in a GREY HONDA CIVIC with license plate 5XLR341 took a picture of the back of my car and possibly wrote down my license plate number. I had a bumper sticker that they most likely didn't agree with. Let's say it was a conservative bumper sticker. The two situations may not be related but be aware of people taking pictures of your car.
