They called my home today as well claiming that we were being sued by the IRS. My husband called back the number and he says a Middle Eastern man answered the phone. After my husband interrogated him and told him a few not so Holy words he hung up the phone. IRS knows how to find us if they need to talk to us.

12-15-15 They called me twice today. Chinese and Indian people manning phone. They don't sound legit and are not very sophisticated. Will only fool someone with limited intelligence and maybe older folks.

My phone is constantly ringing with this number as the caller. When I answer they hang up. Annoying.

Three calls today on my cell phone from 315-675-4164 stating I owe $ to IRS and they haven't been able to get in touch with me, yet the second call I answered so seems the third wasn't necessary since they did in fact get in touch with me. Rec'd similar call like this earlier this year, on a land line. Was told in the past if $$ was owed to IRS, they would be sending me letters, not calling me. Plus, I know I don't owe $$ to IRS.

These idiots called me and I called them back for kicks and giggles. They answer the phone IRS. The phone number comes out of New York. O__o not very bright are they? Anywho..I gave them the wrong name and he repeated my name and then put me on hold a few times and then it disconnected. He knew I was on to him. Thanks for giving me the heads up!

Two calls today. Call bot doesn't engage if you answer the call, but don't say anything.

Today is Dec. 15, 2015 and i recieved 2 calls today from this number. Seems as though they are not to bright, as they are stating that they are from the IRS and the IRS does not contact you through calls, but only through snail mail...They seem to have an Indian, or middle eastern accent, cant understand them too well...

Three calls - so far - today. Reported to IRS on their DOT report form.

I received 2 messages today, assuming it was a scam and did not return the call

I received a call from this number with an automated message stating that the IRS was suing me and that I needed to call them back immediately. When I called back a man with an Indian or Arab accent asked me to verify my address which he quoted as one that belongs to my mother and then asked that I give him my new contact info. I told him I would not seeing as how the IRS already has my correct address on file. The man then told me that if the call was disconnected the police would show up at my house, arrest me and I'd spend the next five years in jail. Obviously, the Federal Government (IRS) would not make such a threat considering the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act forbids creditors/collectors from making such threats. It was at this point that I knew I was not being called by the IRS, but that instead this number is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!
