Here's how I fix this: I let my friends and family know I did this so they're not surprised...in the Android dialer it lets me specify which number my busy/no answer calls go to. I put the phone number of one of these scammers in there. I got the number by acting interested during a scam call, then when they call back they usually call from their actual number. I called it to verify it works, and send all my calls that I don't pick up there. I don't get voicemail anymore but it's a small price to pay to send scam calls back to the scammers.

If everyone would go through the call as if you were actually interested... until you can get them to send you some actual info as to who they are... have them sent you info to review and then you need to get back with them. When they give you their number to return the call to make the purchase, then you have them. Look up the CEO's name and send him a FEDEX with a note that reads... "REMOVE MY NAME FROM YOUR DAMN CALLING LIST OR I WILL COME VISIT YOU IN PERSON" ...and obviously give the the name , info, phone number... I have done this and it is the only thing that works. I have even sent the message to their home address... believe me it gets action. ...and I am sure some of you thinks that it is making a threat... it is NOT. All you are doing is telling them that you will visit them in person! That is not a threat of any kind.

(Los Angeles CA) (1.323.599.4183) Continuous calling of my business line. I have pressed 2 in the past, but they ignore and keep calling. The third time I pressed one to speak to a representative. I very politely asked them who they could connect me to to have me removed from their calling list and they hung up on me. Does anyone know how to make this STOP? It's multiple numbers, even hijacked local numbers interrupting my business constantly. I'm tired of leaving these comments - what do we do???!!!

Call came in @ 09:37, did not answer, caller left no message.That was enough for me to suspect the nature of the call. I THANK all those who took the time to comment on this caller, confirming my suspicion of it being a SCAM-SPAM.

I did not answer. I do not know anyone in Los Angeles, so why would I? When you call the number back from a landline ... you get a fast busy signal ...not an assigned number obviously. SCAM for sure.
