I received a call from 3233319189a stating that someone was filling a lawsuit against me because i had taken a cash advance for a crap load if money. And cursed me when i began asking questions. Thet told me they were attorneys and they could come to my wirk and tell on me???. I have NEVER gotten a cash advance. They also are saying they are from the Attorney Generals Office.

I received a call today. Exact same cenerio. I've been trying to call them several times and they keep haging up. This has to stop . who should we call for this? I'm really upset right now.

I received this call today. I hung up on them the first time, because his accent was so thick, I couldn't understand a word he was saying. Also, when I hear several other accents in the background (indicative of a call center) I usually hang up! Low and behold, he called right back. He told me not to hang up and that he was with the Attorney Generals office in California. He said that I had criminal charges filed against me and I said, "no I don't!" and hung up on him again. You guessed it - he called right back again! He advised me not to hang up and that I needed to get in touch with a Kevin Peterson, (a criminal defense attorney in CA) and gave me a telephone number to call Kevin immediately. Guess what phone number he gave me? You guessed it - the same number he was calling me from and the same number they've been calling everyone from, (323-331-9189). Ironically, I looked to see if there was a Kevin Peterson, who is an attorney in California, and there actually is - in Sacramento. Hmmm. . . I wonder if he knows they are using his name? Anyway, this is obviously a scam and, as Brian above did, everyone should report the call to their local FBI office. I'm also going to forward the link to this site, so they can see that there are probably hundreds, if not thousands, of people across the country, that are receiving these disturbing calls. Hopefully, they can do something quick, as it looks like some people are receiving calls at work. Which is quite disturbing because they've obviously figured out a way of obtaining our personal information - scary! REPORT THEM NOW!

I would be arrested.How do these people fine out about your bussiness.I is not the first time.

I got a call so I looked it up on line and found this! What the hell? while i was on reading what people had to say about this HE CALLED BACK! I told him I called the cops and my phone company and was working with them! All he said was your going to be i trouble! LOL! I am having a hard ehouph time right now don't need this!

The same number called me as well this morning saying that there have been three charges issued against me for credit card frond. I don't even have one, nor I'v ever applied for one. This scared me to death, but luckily I searched the phone number and realized that it only SCAM. Who ever those people are they need to be brought to justice!!!

They Called Me and Said I Was Being Charged With Criminal Offenses For Something they couldnt explain. Then When I Asked For Information they put me on hold and then disconnected the call. I attempted to call back 3 or 4 times and they never answered. FUCKING SCAM!!

With a very heavy accent he said he's name was James Miller. It's a scam; they keep calling me and telling to return their call otherwise all he can do is wish me luck.

For sure a bunch of SCAMMERS!!!!!! Please file reports with your local FBI and put freezes on your credit just to be safe. Ive filed 3 numbers with my local FBI and they say this is how there funding the acts of terrorism on the USA now is by scareing the hard Working American people into giving them money for an alleged lawsuit filed in there name.

This guy called me this morning and said I would be arrested Monday Morning at my job because I have a lawsuit from a Company called Cash Advance. I don't owe them any money. He wanted the card number I used and also that if I don't pay the strange amount of 508 and some odd cents, I would have to take this matter up in court and it would cost me an addituonal $3000. So I typed the number into google and came up with this site. People suck.
