Called me claiming they were Social Security Disability advocates and that they noticed I hadn’t worked in awhile (I’m a stay at home mom) and they want to help me determine if I qualify for any disability benefits.

I simply and nicely told him, “no offense but I am not willing to discuss these things over the phone with a place that I did not call myself. Thanks anyway.” Then I hung up.

Not 2 seconds later my phone rang again without this number showing; it just said “scam likely.” Normally I don’t pic up those calls but I just had to know if this guy was actually calling me back: YUP!

He tried to convince me that he was on the up and up, but would not give me a website to look at. He did give me a number (customer service 877-977-3443.) to call so I could “verify” he was on the up and up. Um...huh? You want me to call the person in the cubicle sitting next to you to find out you’re trustworthy. Yeah no.

He’s called me again today but left no message.

left a message and it was just a noisy background. Called the number back and lo and behold, the number has been disconnected! I get SO many damn SPAM, ROBOCALLS & unidentified callers and I can NO longer block them on my cell phone as I no longer have any room - my blocked call log is full!!!!! SO tired of this crap!!!!

I got a call today from them, could not understand , not good English , talking about disability and stuff, scary because it sounds so real. I hung up and looked up the number and found all of you and it was a scam.

He was wanting to talk about Social Security Disablity I am not not on SSI . Could not understand him he spoke every little English . They call leave no message so I have block the number . The call call from shoreline , Washington . Austin Texas .

I received a call from this number claiming to be from the Social Security Office. The individual wanted to obtain personal information that an individual should never give out over the phone. The caller was Indian and could barely speak English. I hung up on him and redialed the number and it was TTY enabled and did not the call through. Beware of this caller it is a scam!

339-209-1397 I received a call from the listed number. They young man knew my name, social security number, etc. He stated he was inquiring whether or not i would be receiving social security and/or SSI due to my medical issues. I am not on any of these to date.

I got call also wanting to talk to me about my social security disability. When I told him I wasn't on SSD he presided to ask me if I was 62 and I told him no. He then hung up.

Caller: I couldn't understand who he said he was with after asking him twice.

Claimed to be offering social security disability claim assistance. I asked what company they were with and the person stated they were with: Citizens Disability Originally called from # (339) 209-1397 and I blocked it and then they called back the next day with the (877) 531-3242 #. When I asked how they got my email, address, deceased parents names and my # , their answer was "Don't worry about that" after them asking for both my mothers maiden name and father's middle name I ended the call.
