Same problem - same number, I have been called several times and they keep calling me to buy into their scam. The FTC advised it is best to not even answer the call.

Same as above. Call came from 617-714-1762 (Cambridge MA) and was to call 347-418-0426 (NYC NY)

Got a call from a man stating he was Deputy Jack Rogers sounded like a foreigner with county badge#93427 working with FBI and Internal Revenue on a Federal Case. Stating surrender yourself no address just call this number soon as you get this message 347-418-0426.

It's a big scam, but I keep on calling them to mess with them. The guy on the other end tells me he is in Pakistan and his partner works for the IRS

My experience was the same as others have described - a VERY strongly worded, threatening call that might be enough to scare someone less careful/skeptical into calling. I didn't. You shouldn't. If it's really the IRS they know where to find you, and they don't need you to call them back. :-)

I received a call from a blocked number saying the IRS is trying to contact me and this is the "final" notice or attempt. I am assuming this is someone trying to gain insight into my identity and is some sort of spam. I am supposed to return the call to 347-418-0426. I did not call the number.

I just received a call, "my final notice that the IRS is trying to reach me to file a lawsuit against me." I also received another "final notice" a month ago and I was supposed to call another number that was Rochester based. When I searched that number, a lot of people reported it as a scam. Having been audited in the past, I know at that time all correspondence was don via the mail. I suspact this is another scam.

Recorded message stating they've been trying to get a hold of us and this is final warning that the IRS is suing us and I need to call this number 347-418-0426. Must be a scam.
