I just went though the same thing. Difficult to understand what "michelle" was saying, so she transferred the call to "jessica," both of them threatened about being arrested. they even gave a case number, and said this case will be passed to the court as soon as this call ends. I was skeptical at first, but these guys were very strategic. They said they mailed me warning twice, and even had my zip code correct. I told them I didn't receive anything, and the lady replied, "you can talk about it at the court, ma'am." In the end, she said "Would you like to resolve this case now?" of course, i said yes. She asked which bank credit card i have, and asked me to go to a near location WHILE i am on the phone with her to check my cash limit. I told her I am not sure you're real IRS person, and she said "I'm just trying to help here, ma'am. You would need to go to courts then." and she hung up. These people just wasted good 40 mins of my time. I want them to be caught!!!!!!
They called me to saying that I have a case with the IRS. Threatening me saying I was going to jail, and the police going to come arrest in an hour. Saying that I need a lawyer.
I received the same call, the lady was threatening me saying I was going to jail and in one hour the police was coming to arrest me.
I received two identical calls from a male voice with a heavy foreign accent, claiming to be from the IRS and threatening me to take my case to court if I don't respond within a deadline.
Same here...got 3 calls from the same woman with bad English saying IRS has an investigation against me and that I have to call her back by the end f the day otherwise my case will go to the courthouse. Her name was Christine Moss. Phone number was 1-347-650-2087
