I just got this call today from automated voice says that there was a legal petition notice against my name. It said I needed return their call immediately. I googled the number instead since I know the IRS doesn't call first.

I received a call from them today 800 829-1040 from them around 12:15noon an automated message to return their call (360) 746-2558 I did they were very aggressive telling me am going to be arrested due to tax fraud from 2010-2014 my drivers license suspended it's allegation against me I could face prison under section 101 and that I have an outstanding lawsuit against me in order to resolve this issue they ask me do you have $1,874.00 in your bank # I said no I will call my tax payer and hang up on them, THIS IS AN IRS SCAM BE CAREFUL

Same criminal fraud scheme

thank God for this website. I received the same call. I did not know that the IRS does not contact via phone call. I fell for it briefly because the caller ID showed as Washington(at the time I didn't think DC vs the State). Pure BS, heavy Indian accent, he gave badge# and first name. Told me I owed $1084. That warrant is in my name and will be executed if I didn't pay. Once I said take my attorneys name to speak to him he got defensive and threatening. I hung up and immediately decided to google the # and this came up, Thank you everyone who posted.

Just got this call and it was an automated message telling me to call back to this number because of an IRS tax fraud alert. Since I know that the IRS does not call anybody I disregarded the call. Do not fall for this!

Said he was from the IRS Tax audit and there was a tax fraud against this name (did not say ss# or name). I did not return the call.

IRS tax fraud scam

I received a call from this number and I was told that they were IRS and they told me I had a warrant on my name because I did not pay the right amount of taxes and that I owe them $1874. once I told them thanks for letting me know I will talk to my accountant he got defensive and told me I did not need to do that and he was trying to help me. He then proceed to tell me to go to my bank in the morning and get the money out and then go buy a Visa card and put the money in it and the IRS officer would come see me at my house or work to go over the ppw and they would take the card from me. After that I just hang up!
It's so fake!! I hope people don't fall for this! The guys told me his name was Mike Wiliams, he had a very heavy Indian accent and he was hard to understand.

recieved call from 360-746-2558. didnt recognize # , didnt answer. From whati see here looks like it was a scam .
