HGVC called as it showed up on caller ID. I told them not interested but they call again.

This is not necessarily spam. I tried this a couple of years ago at their facility in San Antonio, TX. It's an opportunity for you to try out the concept before joining/buying, usually at reasonable prices.

Called everday for a week - I ignored the call till finally answered the call. They claimed they were a Hilton Awards program but had my last name wrong - replied that they have a wrong number.

Just got a call asking about a trip to Vegas. I'm new to hotel / timeshare scams, so I didn't know whether it was legit or not. I do know to never give anybody my CC number if they call, so I asked them to call back tomorrow. This sounds a lot like a timeshare scam.

Caller: "Harry" and "Dawn" said they were from Hilton HHonors.

Just called offering me "Getaway packages" to Orlando (and when I said I wasn't interested, Vegas). After saying twice that I wasn't interested, I hung up. I got the feeling they were not affiliated with Hilton as they claimed. Shady.

They have called me 4 times today! I never answer my phone unless ID shows someone I know! If it's important and someone HAS to speak to you they will leave a message! I always reverse lookup the # to see if it is a junk call!!

Guy called claiming to be Hilton Awards, trying to offer me a vacation in San Diego or Las Vegas. Sounded like he was calling from a shitty cell phone connection, could hear background noise. If it was legit, it's definitely not professional...
