Caller identified himself as "Officer Alan Johnson" with the US Government and wanted to locate a person who used me as a contact person years ago for a pay day loan - demanded to know where he was and my relationship to him. I truthfully told him that I had not seen nor spoke to the person he was interested in for 2.5 years, but he demanded to know if the person he was searching for was my neighbor, friend, whatever. I demanded to know the name of his business which he refused to provide, I asked directly if he was a member of the US Marshals or some other federal law enforcement agency, or other law enforcement agency, and he mumbled something about being a process server then hung up.

Obviously a violation of the state and federal collections law if they are collecting on a debt.

Started calling my work number and said the are trying to collect for a payday loan. If I don't send or give them my debit card information they will come arrest me and I will go to jail.
They will not give you the name of the company they are calling about. The other phone number they tell you to call back is 321-275-5254.
They also talk to you very rudely.

Called my cell phone. for several days my home number has been getting Unkown Caller calls coming in with no msgs. SCAM! Don't bother picking up - they'll give up soon enough.

On a Saturday afternoon in April I received 10 calls from an unknown #. Realizing I don't answer unknown/Block calls they did not leave a message. After a few minutes I started receiving calls from an unidentified San Francisco # (415) 880-5599. After 14 missed calls they finally stopped calling. I immediately did a google search of this # and it came up as a SCAM telephone. Please be ware DO NOT answer unknown or blocked calls or calls from an unidentified San Francisco # (415) 880-5599.

Called in to our office, sd that he was looking for my co-worker said that my co-worker owed a debt and gave me all the information on that "supposed" debt. Told me the best method of payment is via pre-paid debit card. This was a scam.
