The phone never rang, and the message started in the middle, but the part I did hear is the same nonsense everyone else got. Since when does the IRS refer to local law enforcement as "the local cops." It would be funny if people weren't falling for it.

What's interesting about this is that my phone never rang. A voicemail showed up. The message was a robovoice message telling me that I needed to call the number because I will be taken into custody by the local cops because there are four serious allegations against my name. Funny ... The number comes from a different state than I live in! SIGH.

LMAO, yeah the IRS is going to call me with a phony generic voice generator with bad English and threaten to arrest me by local cops. The IRS sends letters, then they garnish your check.

Just got a vmail saying the same thing: if I don't call back I will be taken into custody. I called back and an "Officer Victor Davis" answered. When I chuckled and said "Oh, OFFICER Victor Davis" he literally said "F*** YOU" and hung up.

Person identified themselves as Sam Brown Badge#GS1982, he was also had a strong indian accent. He also said he was calling from Washington.

At 1 pm received a call from 347-394-1564. At 4 pm from 425-223-4885. Both calls had the same text-to-speech voice recording. IRS threat scam.

Called twice today stating there are charges against me and they will call the cops to come and arrest me if I don't call them back right now. I'm about to "call the cops" on them if they call me again!
