they call to tell you have a past due and to make the payment immediately. it is a scam, Scotia Bank doesn't call to request payments over the phone.

They said they were from Scotia Bank. Kept telling me a had a past due amount on my credit card. When I said no I checked up recently and $0 amount, the lady hung up.
