When the call came up on my phone it registered as "cc327" and then the number of 469-965-4563. I of course didn't answer it and the caller is now blocked.
Additionally, SWA (or any other airline for that matter) will NEVER call you and ask you to come to a grand opening or promise you tickets over the phone.
It was very difficult to understand the caller. She was calling from a room with a lot of other telemarketers and she wanted to offer me a free trip if I came and looked at houses.
As everyone else, I was called by Jasmine with heavy accent saying she was with Southwest Airlines and wanted to invite me to the opening of their new reservation center in Richardson, TX (1751 International Parkway). I knew immediately that was not true, but carried on to see what it was, suspecting it was a travel club or timeshare. Asked for someone that I could understand better, after the third person with heavy accents, just did the best I could. After some questions, found out they work for Southern Journeys and we would sit through a 90 minute presentation of their travel club to get 2 round trip airline tickets. We have done this about 15 times with various travel agencies or timeshares, it's not really a scam, just hard sell - just keep saying NO and get your prize. While you need patience and a flexible schedule, you can use the prize - tickets, cruise, hotel, etc. It's never completely "free", always have to pay taxes, port charges but it is cheaper than paying full price We have used the airline tickets with or without hotel (5 trips), the cruises (4 times). Right now we have reservations for a hotel in Aruba next month, have to pay taxes, etc. but still cheaper than their internet price, not on the beach but looks ok online. I called the hotel to verify our reservations since I am always suspicious. The airfare was not included, but paid for that with credit card points, so a cheap vacation. Waiting now for Spirit Incentives to confirm dates for a cruise to the Bahamas, airfare to Florida is included. I don't say it is the easiest thing to do, but it is possible to get the prize - not in prime travel time, and maybe not direct flights but still cheaper than you can get otherwise. But if you can't say NO under the hard sell, don't go unless you want a travel club membership or a timeshare.

good advice
Since I am on Do Not Call list, and I have been flooded with scam calls from the local area this week, this is surely not legit.
