They called and said there was an arrest warrant out for me. I faked a heart attack. Kept them from spamming someone else for 30 minutes.

Hey guys, if it was the IRS, they would send an official letter with their official seal (or log) or the number that pops up might look more official (like an 800 number). If they really are trying to get you, the number would be something like 000 000 0000 where no one else the States can get like that

Message left on machine stating that IRS is filing lawsuit against me, I recently called back to see what they'd say "in person" rather than on a message and receive a recording "we're sorry, your call did not go through, please try your call later"

Same as everyone else here - "you are being sued by the IRS" scam. Just trying to get money off of unsuspecting people who don't know any better - the IRS does NOT work this way, folks!

Also, guys, please note the date and location of the complaints: the latest are within a week of each other - and this is the same as on other complaint sites I just posted this message to. As I said there: This is probably more proof that they are using some sort of a calling matrix or using a bank of numbers, hoping to get a hit from someone nervous and gullible.

Called this morning and left a very difficult to understand message with a voiceover stating to call some number which you could not understand and this was to avoid a lawsuit?

Four calls from these idiots today. We received a refund from IRS . The IRS only sends correspondence through mail. Where do you file complaint against these clowns?

Recorded message started out in middle with "more information on this file call immediately at 509-288-4651. Not blocked up by Nomorobo . All complaints made today so clearly a new SCAM!!(or at least a new number)

IRS scam. Complained to the FTC as wire fraud. Called the number and it just kept ringing. Doesn't make much sense to call to frighten people into calling you then not answer the phone. Stupid scammers?

As soon as I received the call to my house phone I knew it was a scam( and I am only a young teenager)
For the past week I have been getting calls from this number atleast 3 times a day.
