Even called my VoIP number on "Talkatone", left a silent message for a few seconds.

Thieving scammers! It's ridiculous that all these scammers get reported to sites like this--these who called me sites--but what good does that do if the information gathered about these scam callers is not used to put them out of business? Who cares how many people got how many calls? Someone should be monitoring these sites to see how many complaints go to the same numbers over and over, and then take action. Get rid of the scammers and get rid of the telemarketers. Get some legislation introduced to get this problem solved. I live in Wisconsin where politicians do next to nothing but some of you in states where your representatives care about their constituents should lead the way to reform. The DO NOT CALL REGISTRY is useless if no one is following up on those who ignore the rules.

same thing, 1 ring hung up itself

called and hung up before i could get to it. i called them back and pressed 1 so i could chew out who ever called. the guy who answered immediately asks for my name and billing info to sign me up for his bs scam. i tell him i need his name and i need to speak to his supervisor and i need the supervisor's name as well. the name he gives me is Hal Jordan. i call bullshit and tell him i need his real name that appears on his birth certificate. again he insists that Hal Jordan is his real name. so i tell him he is and idiot and he called a number on the do not call list (local, state , and federal). when i point out that hes full of shit, i know he is using a spoofing program to make his phone number show up as coming from arizona, told him that he is using a translating program, and he is lying to me about his name. to this he presses the 5 key on his phone for an extended periond of time and hangs up.
