Never ending harassment! All due to a tenant that moved out over 6 months ago and owes this Collection Agency. Contacted my Company Service Provider and they gave me Call Screen for 3 months. Unfortunately it will only allow you to block 800 numbers. I contacted them again and was told they can change my number. This will not work as your phone number is registered with your address, hence they can still harass you. Then they said they cannot block this number as it is a registered Canadian number and it would be against the law on their part. Only other option is to pick up, wait 5 seconds, hang up and use your Call Screen to block the last number. As a last resort you can go to your RCMP and fill out a file complaint. But waiting for that action will be a number of weeks for you as it is not considered a priority. But if the individual knows they are in the right, it is illegal to call more than 3 times. You can get a Lawyer and sue. But you have to have the money and we don't :(
