I found three voice messages on a mobile phone that I haven't used for 6 months. The calls were made on Apr 18, Apr 25, and June 10. The April calls were from 6157247999; the June call was from 0000123456. They were from the same person, a male. The content of all three was basically the same:

"Hi, (my name), I haven't seen or heard from you for awhile, just wondering how you are. Call me. Have a nice day." In the last two messages he gave his name as "John". The voice was the same on all 3 messages.

I don't know this person or these numbers. Maybe the strangest thing, however, is that he said my name and said it correctly. I have an unusual name that is usually mispronounced.

I received a call from this number @ 1:26am EDST on 22 May 2010. When I called the number back later in the morining (around 10 AM and several other times since) I got a recording that repeated "this number is not in service."

Just shows up as Nashville, TN. Calls often, but never leaves a message, usually just dead air. Have no idea who or what this is. Very aggravating to be bugged by them all the time though.

I have a MagicJack. I called my home number from it and this is the number that showed up. I wonder if everyone who has one shows the same number. I know, before when I used it, my assigned MagicJack number showed up. I dunno what the deal is.

615-724-7999 calls 3 times a day. I asked them to stop nicely, then ive yelled i ve screammed ive hit keys . this isnt freedom this is like beiing in jail in your own home

I received another call last night at 12:30 a.m. It happens every night late. i end up unplugging all phones which is such a hassle. Is there anyone out there who can advise on what can be done short of changing my number. i know this is a skype number and it's probably some kid doing it. there has got to be a way to find out who is doing this. If anyone out there has an idea, please let me know.

I was called twice by this number on a Saturday morning at 7 AM (EST)! There was a voice message, but it was blank. I figure that it must be a computer, because a real person would have to get up at 6 in Tennessee on a Sat just to be obnoxious!

I have been receiving calls from this number, they hang up and never leave messages, it is really aggravating 615-724-7999

Suzanne, I just joined this site; first time I've ever gotten a call like this on my cell phone; all I know is that it comes back to Nashville, TN but when I tried calling it, "Not a working number" and found out scammers use a fake number to call from their unscrupolous call centers...last year I was getting calls from "The Takhar Investment Group" in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada over long-paid-ago alleged debt from a book club. Immediately filed Complaints with Cambridge BBB and our State Attorney Gen'l and also with the http://donotcall.org list! Our cable-telephone company just added "1-800" number blocking so blocked "Takhar Group" (owned by a Pakistani, who apparently employs Pakistanis and other foreigners in his boiler-room scam.
