I received a call from this phone number tonight. 1st call to tell me I was beautiful and that he loved me. 2nd call to ask me if I have had food yet. 3rd call I told him to stop calling me and hung up. 4th call I answered in another language and he started speaking that language so I hung up. 5th call I told him to F off! and he replied that he wanted to F me. The 6th, 7th, 8th calls I just answered and said nothing until he finally hung up... then I blocked his phone number from my phone. This caller is ridiculous!

Why don't Microsoft catch these scammers

They call me often, don't answer numbers I don't recognize however today I did. This guy (yes, foreign sounding) actually said he was from Norton, following up on a virus issue...When I said I don't have Norton, there was total silence.

yes they did...and they do AT LEAST twice a week. And what I find interesting, is I always get the call the day AFTER I make a bank transaction. I would report what the caller said, but unfortunately I can't understand the jerk

These thugs in digital clothing have called me at least five times over the past year. I think they get successful because they must peruse the microsoft forums and try to get phone numbers for people, and they try to find people who are really having tech trouble. Or, I think, someone with access to microsoft private information must be involved. Because when these started, I was having tech problems. I was asking for help at microsoft's website. But I didn't fall for it, nearly though. If these thugs can get into your computer, they can steal so much information and rob you blind, leave you with a crashed or worse computer and you will have an even harder time trying to put blocks on your private information.
I don't understand how microsoft with all the money they make and all the tech they have doesn't ferret these guys out. They do the same thing over and over and over. People go online and complain. It doesn't make sense to me.

They are very gullible and easily played. I took one guy to the brink of insanity: He gave me a long series of digits that he wanted me to enter into a registry deep in Windows.. I pretended to get the digits mixed up, wasted 10 minutes. But since this was very close to "victory", the guy was frantically patient. I finally told him I need a toilet break, left the call and never returned. It's justice to prank them, so have some fun. If you pretend to be dim-witted, they'll spend an extra half hour talking about what to feed your pet.

Fed up with these people calling, sometimes two and three times a day. Five calls on my landline in the past week. I don't answer. I have stopped even picking up my landline and cell phone if the caller shows as unknown to me or has no caller ID or is an 800 type of number. If they want to leave a voice message they can, but they never do, which confirms a useless or scam call to me.

Constantly called by these kinds of people this week. I have Macs anyways so I mess with them for a while to waste their time.

A guy called and said that I gave him permission to repair a computer problem maybe on my lap top. I never reported a problem with anything. Seem like this number could be tracked and the people arrested. He is a liar. He didn't even know who he was talking to. My mom doesn't use a computer .

First did not answer. Sounded like there was a delay, possibly an overseas connection. "Brokers tech" computer needs fixing. I hung up. The guy had an Indian accent.

It is a total scam. They couldn't even get the name of their company right when I kept asking them who they were with. They said Broker's Tech and it was the same old story that your computer is sending out signals that something is wrong and they need to fix it. When I told them they were total liars they hung up.
