I have also received a few of these calls from the number: 1-631-208-1234. I have never been home to answer them, but I have called the number back and it says that it is not a working nimber. It is not a name that shows up on my caller ID either, it says Testing Mileage, whatever that means.My fiance' used to work on telephones and he said," there is a number of ways that this can happen but more than likely someone has set up the number to where u can only make outgoing calls or hacked a phone line and set it up however they wanted. We will probably never track down the actual person that is responsible." I think maybe it is possible if you put forth the effort, but who knows what you would have to go through to find out. Hope this helps.

repeated calls on my new phone number almost as soon as it was installed. I ignored for several days, then picked up, only to hear (after several seconds of dead air) a recorded message asking me to "please hold." not a chance! now I'm looking for a way to block them.

Receive call which left a message about the federal government and help to stop mortgage forclosure. When I called back to get my name taken off the list, I get a message saying this is not a valid number. SCAM! They call at least twice a week.

Well... I actuall talked to them today. After numerous calls daily. I acted interested and found out this..
I wouldn't give any of my personal info. They claim to work with an attorney to settle your debt and reduce the total by 45-55%. The website I was given was solutionsdebtgroup.com
The site is poorly made. It gives an 877 number to call for help. I can't seem to find any info when I google the #. The gentleman gave me a name of Johnathon Brody and his direct line 516-714-4398. I have dialed all of the numbers and it's a voicemail game. The mailing address on the site is

Woodbury, NY, 11797

google it for kicks!! It appears to only be linked to a mail order type place with the following info:

OF COURSE... the phone number associated with this address does not work. Go figure!

this scum keeps calling and hanging up! what good does the federal do not call list do if your on that do not call list and the goverment just says o well obama wants to get and save federal dollars start with the people who work in that department then we the tax payer can say to them theres nothing we can do!!!! if you hace a cell phone the scum telemarkerts are costing us money most plans you have to pay for incomming and out going calls. i think the best thing to do is since the goverment doesn't care about the working class is for people how are tired of this to come together and put a stop to it are selfs

I have the same problem as others. This number calls daily on my cell phone and when I answer they hang up. They don't even say a word. From now on, I will not answer and punch the "do not accept" feature.

im so sick of this random calls... i have to shut my phone off at night,,,,,6312081234 i picked up one time and it rang the number back,,,, it was a guy it sounded like he was in a telemarket back ground lots of voices

If no one is going to do anything about them, maybe we should hunt them down and make sure they understand that what they are doing is unacceptable.

They wouldn't even let me ask them to take my number off of their list they hung up on me as soon as I said I didn't have debt.
