Received a robocall from these jerks which immediately stated they were filing papers at the local courthouse. When I called them they said they were an IRS officer and threatened to have me arrested for 40 days. I told them I'd take my chances with the legal system rather than dealing with them. He immediately hung-up when I started to challenge him. Can't believe these guys can't be shut down.

Called them back on a different line and they hung up on me when I challenged them as to who they were and why they were calling instead of sending me written notification. Definitely a hoax. Blocked the caller, moving on in life.

Got the same IRS lawsuit robocall. Scam.

I just received the same phone call. It was horrible. The threats and demands for the same amount of $. I called my acct and they told me it was a scam and gave me the number to the irs which confirm I was in good standing. I will be notifying the local authorities which they threatened would be arresting me in the next 35 min for 40 days. This is horrible

I received a similar call this morning at 9:35 am. Caller identified himself as an IRS employee and left a message requesting a return call to (646) 583-0754. Concerned, I called back and was threatened with police intervention if payment was not made immediately. I did not pay and called my accountant to confirm all was well with my tax obligations and then notified local law enforcement. Definite SCAM. Do not take the bait and fall prey!
