They left a recorded message claiming to be the IRS and wanting to sue/arrest me. Yeah, right! The IRS will use post mail.
I received a recorded message re: IRS filing a lawsuit against me and to call their department number. I hate that these scams continue.
Exactly! IRS will send you a letter.
I have received a call today 9/13/16 from 660-787-0452. They left me a auto voicemail stating IRS was filling a lawsuit against me and this was the final notice. I called back, phone rang over 2 minutes before anyone picked up, there where on options as to why you are trying to reach IRS and when someone finally answered there was a bunch of noise in the background like in telemarking. This is defiantly a SCAMMMM. When I tried to call back a second time phone rang for 5 minutes, no option to for "0", no option to leave voice and they did not answer.
Received two calls today from (660) 787-0452. Called it back because I have read about these scams before. They sound really legit! I ended up talking to three young men, each with a foreign accent. One said his name was Jeff Johnson, Badge #ML0591V62; the next said his name was Richard Weber, Badge #09743; the last person didn't bother making up a name. But all was the same urgent - the police are waiting to arrest you - blah blah blah. Sad, pathetic.
