I received the same call today under unknown caller id. It was a male staying that I had a case open for tax default and have me the time period. He said I had two choices of resolving the matter by paying or taking it to trial. When I told him I wanted to fight it in court he seemed bothered and tried to hang up on me. I asked him further questions regarding my court date or if I would receive any information via mail and he cold to respond. He quickly changed the tone of his voice and tried flirting with me asking me if I knew that I had a nice voice, yuckkkkk!

Same thing here wanting 11k in back tax and penalties. Wow. Really - notified sherrif - thought it would be fun to call them at 5am when I get up to go to work but they don't answer....don't part with your honest hard earned money. The IRS never calls - they send letters. Beware and stay safe.

Stupidity should be addressed, but not on my cell. The recorded msg said that the call was from the "Federal Government" and although it was my first call from those clowns, the recorded voice informed me that it was my last notice before they arrest me. The message is vague enough to be interesting but I think they were insinuating that I was to be arrested for some form of tax evasion. While I normally enjoy a pleasant prank, these folks insult my entire life and common sense education. Seriously people, put that effort into making your own money and for the love of all phone numbers, get a job and make your way honestly. Stop wasting your time trying to trick hard working people out of their hard earned money. I'm working right now, and No, no way would I send your lazy asses a dollar for your stupidity issues. Scam, a lame one at that. Ive reported this to local authorities, and online agencies already today. I normally don't but this one got me mad. I know there are people who might be taken in and I am taking up for all of them. Thank you :)
