Someone call me from this number this morning I just let it ring I did not answer

They're still at it. I just received my third call in four weeks and probably the 10th since they got my phone number . Each time I've told them my business closed over 5 years ago and the number is on the Do Not Call Registry. Each time they've said they'll remove it and of course they don't. One week later it's another phone call. I've filed complaints at the Do Not Call Registry, but that hasn't done any good either. The new ploy is they "have a rep in your area and are calling to confirm you'll be open between 9 and 5 so he can stop by." I'm so sick of these annoying people I finally decided to meet the rep and see if he (or she) could get them to stop. Told them since I'm a consultant I can't have vendors showing up at client offices so could they mail me information on the company (which of course I would provide to the Do Not Call people). Surprise surprise, nope can't do that because "all pricing is customized". I then suggested we meet at a public location close to my business and was told "they used to do that, but now they don't." By playing along, I was able to get a web address and the full name of the company. It's Crescent Processing Company and the web site is www.crescentprocessing.com. Maybe if they are flooded with emails and phone calls from all the people they annoy they'll get the idea. Contacting them through their site is a waste of time, you'll get switched from Client Services to Activation back to Client Services; however a search on their name brings up the BBB of Dallas/N. Texas and they list (877) 233-3376 ext 8083
as the phone number and 12700 Park Central Drive, Suite 1100, Dallas, TX 75251-1541 as the address. There have been some big judgements agains companies violating the do not call registry--guess my next step is to provide the corporate address to a process server :)Caller: Crescent Processing Company
