Call and immediately said we have some late payment from Macy's need to pay right away with checking account. When i asked for the last 4 number of the late account number, they can't even provide claim that their policy can't review it. BS. SCAMMER ALERT.

Use android app MrNumber to block all calls from area code 513 and 727 and never shop at Macy's again

Was getting calls from their 513 area code for several days and now the 727 area code. I looked them up and found they were Macys, so I called customer service on the 87-493-9207 number directly, because I DO NOT have a Macy's nor Bloomingdale card (and never will). Press 6 for more options and 1 for customer service.

I spoke to someone (in the US) who asked for the # that was being called. She looked it up and asked if I knew anyone by a very foreign sounding name that I have never heard of, and I stated no. She asked if she could put me on hold, which was fine by me.

It took a while, but I was transferred to someone else who asked for my name (I only gave it because I had called Macy's directly - not the other way around). She stated the number would be removed from the account of this other person. When I asked for information on this person, they would not provide it. It's very disconcerting to know someone is using my number that I do not know, and obviously is falling behind on their credit.

Anyway, that's the way to stop these calls. Although I did state that if I get just one more, I'll be filing an FTC complaint, as I am on the do not call list, and these "robo calls" have been calling me on my business number.
