I keep getting calls from a "Nick Austin" too, and he makes many of the same claims. I plan on reporting this illegitimate law firm to the FTC, and I encourage anyone else who receives these calls to report them too. Also, if you think you know the source that disclosed your information to this fraudulent organization, I'd recommend mentioning that in your report to the FTC. The FTC does not investigate individual cases; however, the more people who file reports, the easier it is for the FTC to build investigations.

called my job stating there was an outstanding debt in my name and i was going to get sued. They were foriegn speaking hard to understand, wanting me to give them my ss # and wanting to know what i was going to do about getting sued and the debt. I just curious how they got my work number and my name? this freaks me out!!!

Phone number called my job acting like an attorney saying I owe them money. Could hardly speak english, very hard to understand on voicemail. Hung up on them! So BEWARE! Said it was a wireless call on Caller ID but did a reverse look up and came up as a landline somewhere in California.
