This is a robotic call saying something along the lines of "this matter is very serious matter and emergency, investigation team of irs have notified us via a notice from headquarters, this notice expires in 24 hours, after 24 hours you will be taken into custody by local authorities, 4 pressing allegations against you, call us so we can talk before any legal action is taken. "

Scam. The IRS doesn't contact someone via robo-call and threaten to bring charges.

Apparently the calls went out this morning. This is an outrageous scam call, but you can clearly tell its fake but the language the recording uses. Perhaps the scammer should seek an English speakers review before publication (it doesn't "get expired", it just expires stupid)

SCAM
The voicemail said for me to call back before they contact the "local cops" because of a legal action against me. I am part of the police family (so the word "cop" was also not acceptable). The voicemail was a recording and not an actual live - human being that was calling. I am looking into getting this issue resolved so that this scam will be taken care of.
