Today my mother received three calls asking to call them. After reviewing the internet and seeing the above comments decided not to call back

A man informed me that my social security number is being suspended for suspicious activity in Texas. They called from 786-220-3420. When I asked him what social security number he had for me he said "that's not how it works." so I told them him I was hanging up and calling the SSA (Social Security Administration) directly.
Claims to be in Miami SS office. Tracked my address from phone. Gave fake date of birth and they said they had my information but wanted me to verify with my SS #. Even gave me name, ID and address of SS office in Miami. Called SS and recording said they are getting a record number of calls about fraudulent calls. Report to OIGSSA/gov.report.
