I got multiple calls from 800-533-8830 , too. I never answered and they never leave any voice mail! These guys need to STOP!

This number 800-533-8830 keep's calling me when i ask who it was no one answerd so i clicket then it call me again same thing happened the calls kept coming so i called cox my phone service provider they where charging me 4.99 to block this number so i was like no thank problaly comes from them who know. Sometimes companies use tricky way's to get more money so i surf the internet and found the don't call me list I register and wich it's free and the calls stop coming....

This number (it's apparently the S.D. Union Tribune) called me yesterday and I didn't answer. Today I picked up because I wanted to ask to be removed from their list, and there was only silence on the other end of the line. I am on the DNC list.

It seems this paper is getting more and more desperate and aggressive with their marketing attempts, and not just over the phone. Last week, at almost 9PM (unreasonably late in my opinion!) someone knocked on my apartment door and said "I just want to make sure you've been getting your paper." I told him that there must be a mistake, because I don't subscribe and never have. He said "Oh, well we're offering free newspapers. We just ask that you give $2 every Sunday as a tip to the delivery person." I thought about that for a second and then said "so it isn't really free, is it??" He continued to press until it was clear that I was getting annoyed, then he shook his head and left. Yeah, knocking on my door an hour before bed time and proceeding to piss me off is a great way to sell papers. No, thanks!

This number called 6 times today from 9:38 am to 12:44 in the afternoon. No messages are ever left and at times the calls were back to back. They started calling two days ago and the amount of times they call a day is increasing. STOP CALLING!!!!

I have just now received the third call from this number so far this morning. It is on my cell and no one is leaving a message. It looks like from other posts that it is the SD Union Tribune. This is getting plain stupid!

San Diego Union Tribune wanting to sell me the paper. Asked to have my number removed and they called again 2 min later to sell me the paper again. WTF?

WHOEVER YOU ARE STOP CALLING... I OBVIOUSLY DON'T WANNA TALK TO YOU, NOT YESTERDAY, NOT TODAY, NOT EVER. IF YOU DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE YOU'RE NOT IMPORTANT! BACK THE F OFF!

I don't know who this is, but I want them to stop calling me 5x a day! It makes me nervous. Apparently, this number is for the San Diego Union Tribune. I cancelled my subscription with them months ago because they rarely actually delivered my newspaper; calling and not leaving a message just adds to the negative image they're building! Hmph!

This number - 800-533-8830 - is calling multiple times per day. Caller ID says "800 Service", and we're on the DNC list.

i have been receiving calls repeatedly for the last week from this 800 # even though my number is on the DNC list.
