Said they were Citibank confirming an application. Spent more than an hour w Citibank w the number listed on their website (not the number on the voice mail). Citibank transferred me back and forth at least 10xs and still couldn’t give me an answer. From this experience, I will never open a Citibank card bc their customer service is frustrating and subpar. Still don’t know if it was a legit call or not.
I got this same call from 904-954-1207 on both my home & cell # telling me to call 800-825-0393 and use a reference code..we did have contact with Citi 2 days ago to add an authorized user- but we called from yet another cell #!!! I checked my account online- there are no fraudulent messages
i received a call at my work stating was from the fraud department, when i confronted the individual could not give me details but needed my card number or social security number, what a scam these m****F**** are heartless minds doing... do not give anything, watch your information...
This is spooky. I just called Citibank to find out where my new card was bc I should have gotten it by now. Hours later I get this call and msg from Citicard saying there was fraudulent activity on the card I haven't gotten yet. If it doesn't make sense, it's probably a SCAM.
I received a call from Citibank Visa informing me about possible fraudulent activity on a card that I have yet to receive. Left on my answering machine I had a message to call 1-800-825-0393 and the person also left a reference #. I called Costo where I applied for the card told them about the situation and she connected me to their fraudulent department. The gal there said (after she ask for the reference #) that they had indeed tried to reach me to verify that I had a applied for a Costo Visa. However, and this is really strange. I called that # 1-800 and unless I dialed wrongly I got a guy wanting to sell me Western Music CD's. Go figure.
