1-800-642-6806 Called to say that back in 2004 I had a $300.00 check returned by my bank and they were the insurance company who covered the check. They called onece before a month ago and again are asking for my bank account info. My bank said this no kidding is a scam.

I don't know who this is and not listed on any web site. Stop calling. Do not answer them. Best thing is to google it and see what it gives you.

I get this number calling me and leaving messages that they are looking for this person, and if you are not this person, hang up now, if you don't then we'll assume you are this person. HOW CRAZY IS THAT!?
Then today, my son answered and it was actually a real person who stated his name to be, "Ryan Peterson" and left the number 1-800-642-6806 for me to call.
I called to see who it was and that's when I heard that same female electronic voice message that calls me with the above script. So, it's the same company that must be scamming ppl. He seemed to know my first name though?
I will avoid as much as possible, but my number is on the Do Not Call list but that doesn't seem to matter.

I also received a telephone call from these people. They are asking about a debt payment which I don't owe and have never owed. This seems like a total scam to me!

This person called wanting to collect a debt. When I asked her what for, she said for a car payment. I have a car from 2004 and it has been paid off for 2 years. I called the dealership to confirm, and the small town dealership said the last and final payment was 2 years ago. The woman on the phone wanted a checking account number (preferred) or a credit card for a $1800 payment. I told her no and hung up. Either this is a sick scam, or they have the wrong person.
