I got this letter as well. The only info they seem to have is my name and mailing address, and the year and make of my vehicle (they didn't have the model, let alone the VIN or anything else). No return address, and the UASS company location in the fine print is fake. I reported it through the USPIS mail fraud system and recommend anyone else receiving one of these do the same.

I purchased a 10 year extended warranty last year from the dealer when I purchased my new car. Ths scam letter. The fine print said "not affiliated with the DMV, dealer or manufacturer.". However, the letter is misleading.

Official looking letter arrived a few weeks after I registered my car with no info other than "TIME SENSITIVE" and saying "YOUR AUTO WARRANTY MAY BE EXPIRED!" with this 800 number on it. It's a scam.

They're scrubbing the DMV databases and mass mailing spam letters out and robo-dialing people. The outside of the letter has no return address so you can't mark it as "RETURN TO SENDER" and there's no way in hell I'm calling them to tell them to stop so they can get my phone number too. There is only some fine print at the bottom:

I got the same letter this morning entitled to "Final Notice"
What the hell is that!!!!!!
And it says penalty for private use, $300
I wonder where they got my address from?!!

Got a letter saying "final notice your factory warranty has expired. You will responsible.." they should proof read their own stuff if they're trying to pass this off as real.

Hmmm....I received a letter as well w/ the phone number 1-800-827-4856, + a post card w/ another number 1-888-395-8636 to call. So I don't know what to think, but it sounds like a scam to me considering I just recently received the car from a family member, & was not informed of any warranties about to expire!

Mysteriously vague letter mailed to me warning me that it was my FINAL NOTICE and I must call them to ensure my car was covered. They did have my car's year, make and model. No real return address, listed as "Official Business " 800837-4856 or -2894(Spanish) was the number you are told to phone immediately. Definitely a SCAM!!

I got the same letter, too. You can find the words in the bottom of the letter " is not affiliated with the DMV, Dealer, or manufacturer".
