Credit Card balance transfer offer. It appears they have individuals calling from different numbers and some are blocked and some are not. I have requested each time to be put on their do not call list and each time they just hang up.

caller said that my computer had sent error messages over the past week and wanted to know if I was aware of this problem. I asked what computer and they were unable to answer me. I hung up the phone. Beware of this phone number.

Calls everyday, at all times. No message's left. I answered, they hung up. I called the number back, and it came back with - number no longer in service. I am on do not call list and have a private number.

re: 801-410-7985. I just received a call from that number. Our phone line is acting up so barely heard an
East Iindian accent and something about computer technical service. I hung up before he could go any farther. Same old scam, different number. They call claiming to be with mocrosoft techincal service or some such and want to fix your computer, in other words, steal all the identity they can.

They called me this morning, when I saw Utah I assumed it was the Romney campaign asking for a donation which of course would be laughable because I cannot stand him. I didn't answer the phone and no one left a message. Happy now that I didn't answer after reading these other posts. This was my first call from this number.

man claiming to be from microsoft.... wanted access to my computer because he claimed i was sending people viruses and he needed to fix it. I told him no, and he said my license on my computer would be cancelled. i hung up on him.

Indian speaking voice, saying they are calling Microsoft Techical, saying I have a virus on my computer. Have received 2 call so far. Asked the to stop calling. This I believe is a scam because Microsoft does not make calls to people out of the blue.

He spoke very poor English and said he was with Microsoft and I had a computer problem. I questioned where he got my phone number and he said I registered it with my computer which was not the case. He wanted me to turn my computer on (it was already on) and press Control and the windows symbol at the same time so he could check my computer. I kept asking him to identify himself and all he would say was that he was a Microsoft Technician and since I didn't follow his instructions he would block my IP address that would turn off my internet. I kept asking for a phone number so I could call him back and he said that wasn't important. He had gotten my personal information including my birthday.

Report to the Voice Over IP business http://bandwidth.com/about/contact/ This is a violation of their Acceptable Use Policy which they would care about. This is also in Violation of Many if not all State Laws/Statutes as well as Federal Laws. Report to Their and your States Attorney (their being bandwidth.com which is located in North Carolina AND Utah) as well as Federal Agencies as seen fit.
