Health care survey and the telemarketers cannot speak English

I'm a former employee of DSS Research and, be assured, this is no type of scam. Insurance companies pay DSS Research to do reach out to former, current, and prospective customers of insurance - not to sell - but simply due surveys that last anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes over the satisfaction of their coverage so the insurance companies can, in turn, better form policies and coverage for their customers for the upcoming year.

Agents calling have no personal information, other than a first and last name and, at times, a street address to verify they are speaking with the correct person. It really is not a scam. When money or some other incentive is offered to complete a survey, it is only because the insurance companies want FAST results, and all money is mailed out within 4-6 weeks.

Please do not be alarmed by this company - it's harmless. There are much worse places out there. If you do not want to be called, you can ask to be removed from the call list or even call the number back and ask the operator to be removed from the call list.

Have a good day!!

I'm on the National Do Not Call List. I don't do any business with them and don't know this company. They should be fined. This has got to be a scam.

Oddly, I received spam email today from a Texas company. They forged my personal email address and my personal domain address to spam me. No one but me is authorized to use that domain name. That is identity theft and it's a punishable crime. They call themselves "The Kim Komando Show" at www.komando.com. Be aware, it is illegal to send an email to someone using that persons same email address as the sender of the email. They may call it "spoofing" but it's a crime! I reported them to the FBI.

The infamous Robert Soloway is doing time for a long list of crimes, including identity theft. Maybe komando.com should do some research about what happens to scammers and internet identy thieves.

If you do not know of Robert Soloway, search his name at www.fbi.gov. It's nice to know that some people get what they deserve.
