Folks here are pissed and it really shouldn't be OUR BURDEN to email you for the benefit of having our numbers expunged from your auto-dialer system. Heck, I don't even own a VW; haven't had one since 2007 when I switched automative brands. If my current dealer is using a contractor to solicit more business (something they've almost never done) then I will take that matter up with them directly. For now I've filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call List and if necessary will move that complaint up a notch to the FCC.
If this were a legitimate business activity then why is your Caller ID information not showing the name of your organization or the name of the organization you are calling on behalf of? Typically those who suppress their Caller ID information are debt collectors (not an issue for me!) and those individuals who are less than forthcoming or conducting business in a predatory environment.

The only way I can expunge your number is with your name and phone number so I apologize for the inconvenience.
We are calling on behalf of automotive dealerships so the PEAK caller ID does not display. In no way are we predatory or any sort of debt collector, simply either follwoing up on a service visit or reminding customers of the importance of service.
Again, my apologies.
Two calls same time on two consecutive days, hang up when I answered. I plan NEVER to answer now that I know it's VW. I already did an on-line customer satisfaction survey. Leave me alone.

Recieving call from this number daily. No messages are left and the calls just keep coming. Since I don't know who this is, I would like for the calls to stop. I am registered on the "do not call registery" and my answer machine clearly states so and also states to remove me from their calling list. To no avail, it keeps happening.

5 days in a row, answered phone from this number and no one on the line. called back to Request to be removed, still getting calls. Reporting to FCC.

You are right, Seth. We are a CRM company who makes calls on behalf of VW. Our hope is to get a live person on the line so sometimes we make multiple calls if we get no answer.
