I was left a message on my phone from this number. I said, "I know this is a scam and I am reporting you!" The person on the line told me to "F--- off!"

Received second call in less than a year from this caller. On first call we ended up calling back and they immediately hung up. SCAM!!!!!

Rec'd call saying IRS was going to sue me! So I hung up. The caller was a recording from PAETECSTARNET. Another SCAM!

So far, about every two weeks I receive a voicemail from a different number; however the prerecorded message left on my voicemail is the same. On each occasion (three now), I "google" the number, and find that it is the same scammer using a new number.

Received a call this morning stating the same thing (that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me). I knew it was a scam, but I called the number just to see exactly what the crook was going to ask for, i.e., personal info, money, etc. I couldn't hardly understand his foreign accent, but when I told him I was reporting him to the Attorney General, he immediately hung up. I immediately filed an complaint with the Attorney General's office.

Just got this call moments ago as well.

Please note, directly from irs.gov:

"Note that the IRS will never: 1) call to demand immediate payment, nor will the agency call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill; 2) demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe; 3) require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card; 4) ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone; or 5) threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying.

Same as comments above. Scam. IRS would not contact you in this way. Called me 2pm 2/26/2016. Do not call them back.

Claimed it was the IRS suing me. Zero notices from the IRS and no need for them to be suing me.
