Same recording, it does not verify that you are who is being targeted by the request! Ditto for anyone who doesn't know: The IRS NEVER CALLS ANYONE! They send snail mail with all the pertinent details.

Ass holes. Total scam. Probably auto bill you $800 per minute if you call the number back. If crooks would use their energies and intelligence for a good cause we might actually have a cure for cancer or world peace.

Recording said US Treasury calling to inform me of court proceedings against me by the IRS. Gave another number to call for info or to arrange payments. SCAM!! The IRS never ever calls anyone for any reason!
