Called with a claim number for someone who died 10 years ago.

844 # are not through a phone company they are bought # through some generic company that should be banned from giving these fact bogus #'s me and everyone associated with me has been getting these calls for the past several month

They have been calling me and my family. Saying I owe for a payday loan. It's a lie and a scam

Pay day loan scam claiming owe loan that doesn't exist. Refuses to give any information to identify themselves. Hangs up if too many questions are asked or if you demand in writing.

They are working for a company called kenwood,which they are called TACS,How do I get rid of these people)?

Robo call left vm for my ex SIL on my phone number - the ex SIL divorced out of the family nearly 20 years ago so this was already suspicious. Before calling back to tell them to take my phone number off their lists I Googled the number and found it was a scam.

They are claiming that I borrowed money
from pyramid loan back 2013 and said that they emailed me, sent info in the mail and used our old landline,which we got rid of over 5 years ago

They called from number 844-510-1813. Automated voice said they are looking for me and gave me a claim number and also gave number 844-661-8819 if I want to call back. I stayed on the line and spoke with a girl, I had to ask a couple of times who she was with, finally said Transamerican consumers. Claimed that I had a payday loan through OPD, LLC,, when I asked who that was, she said they "represent companies like" and she rattled off a bunch of payday loan companies, but couldn't tell me specifically which company I supposedly used, I told her I never took out a payday loan. She then rattled off the last 4 of my social and address. I kept telling that she is trying to scam me. I told her she can talk to my attorney, she hung up. When I called the other number (8819) and I blocked the call so my number wouldn't show, the lady identified herself as TACS. I had to ask twice what does that stand for, she said Transamerican Consumer Services. I asked her why when I look up her company, it shows they pretty much don't exist unless they are an insurance company which doesn't make sense because it sounds like they are acting like bill collectors. She then rudely asked "is there something I can help you with?" And I told her she could start by not trying to scam people and we were disconnected.

I was almost a victim. Thank God I looked them up on the internet total SCAM!

Spam scam robo call very annoying call

soemine named Tyler called said she wanted me to confirm my social, when I wouldn't give she said good luck and hung up!

They keep calling me from different numbers trying to get my social security number!!

Called me several times this morning. The woman states that they're handling a claim against me (provides the number) and then a call-back number. She never states what company she works for nor what her name is. Not sure if it's the same company or not, however, I've been getting messages at home. Most of it is a recorded message and they state that they're calling about a possible wage garnishment and I need to stay on the line and speak with a representative. No company name or phone number is provided. How do you go about reporting these people?

They have been calling my ex-husband, my office and my cell phone which I have now blocked and they don't tell you anything. They say I owe some payday company $80 from a long time ago while I was working at my current employer. I've worked here 40 years.

Block these scam artists. They call, pretending you owe some kind of debt, and are unable to answer any kind of basic information request. I've blocked their numbers, only to have them call again from another number. They are obviously using an app to spoof phone numbers to make it hard to trace them.

I'm not sure if it's related but I had some other automated message saying "Recently you requested information about a pay day loan..blah blah blah" - which I never did.

I've asked them to provide me with a mailing address and website of their company (what debt collection company does not have a mailing address or website? What if a debtor wants to mail a check...or make a payment online?)

Whenever I start to ask too many questions, they get rude and hang up on me. A legit debt collector would NEVER hang up if they have you on the phone - they want you on the phone as long as possible to try to get you to make a payment.

All of the woman I've kept on the phone have Caribbean accents and generic names like April Johnson. It's Miami based.

Block their calls and stay away.
