Me too, I'm in Maryland, I've only had one call from them. Know it was a scam because I work with MS techs at my job, they laughed about it.

It was a lady's recorded voice saying that it was an emergency situation and that our Microsoft security had expired and that we are no longer protected and that I needed to call 844-326-7745 immediately. (Which I did not do, thankfully I researched it first!) SCAM!!!

I work in IT, so I Called them back and played dumb...they asked me to press a windows key, I said it didn't work a couple times, then I said there was no key with the word windows on it, they all had single letters...He described where the key was, but I told him that area only had numbers...then I told him I had messed up and my keyboard was upside down...finally told him I found the keys he wanted...man...it shut my computer down....Told him I was turning it back on...then said the PC was smoking...after a few seconds I said there were flames shooting out...he finally got the hint and disconnected...total time wasted of his about 10 minutes :)

I received the robot call from a woman on 10 June 2016 stating my Microsoft Security had expired and to please call 1-844-326-7745. I knew it was a scam and did not return the call.

I called them back on the scam. I asked who they were they answered "Microsoft Security Update subscription Service". I called bull crap and told them MS doesn't have consumer #'s, they don't call consumers, the security is free with no subscription fee, and I use a MAC, the hung up asap

left voice mail - only said 'urgent call 8443267745'. obviously BS. We really should hang these folks in the public square a few times when we catch them. That may stop these scammers. Same for ID thiefs.

Called and left voicemail. They claimed my copy of windows has expired. Scammers.
