I got a call from Midland Credit-They want me to pay a debt. that I do not owe. Sounds like they are scammers to me.

Got a call from this number at work. Could not understand a word he said. Finally, understood that he was asking for "Rudy" somebody. I have no idea. I told him there was no one in our office by that name and hung up. Felt like a scam to me.

The Caller ID says Midland Credit and the number is 855-891-8849. Sometimes there is no Midland Credit, just the same number. They call three and four times a day and when the answering machine answers some times a voice says "hello?" two or three times and then hangs up. I get tired of these people calling and not leaving a message. If they would leave the message or say they are looking for a certain person I will let them know if I know them or not. But I have had too many bad experiences with scam artists. Never lost any money, but have been harassed and called many vile things.

Wants to collect debt for an account I don't have. Heavy accent. Says he represents Midland Credit Management.

We do not pick up these call as we are debt free and after reading all the complaint comments on your site, it appears that this firm is a true scam. This firm calls numerous times per day, seven days per week beginning at 8:00 AM. Today, I also filed a complaint via www.donotcall.gov as my telephone number has been registered on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY since 2003.

After reading all the current comments on 855-891-8894 - Midland Credit, we too have been receiving numerous calls from this number seven days per week beginning at 8:00 AM for over a month. We do not answer the calls when we see the number via caller ID and we too are totally debt free, so no credit problems here.

Today, I read an article in the Sunday paper and per this article's suggestion, we filed a complaint on line and I would recommend everyone here do the same. Go to www.donotcall.gov and follow the 3-step process to file a complaint if your telephone number is already registered on the Do Not Call List.

Thanks and hopefully if enough complaints are registered, Midland Credit or whatever their name really is will receive a big-time fine!

They are calling to my home # the whole month of August. Never have left message. My phone has answering machine. And when I do not recognize a Phone #, I do not answer. If they don't leave message, they aren't really interested in contact us. Yesterday they called twice. But today(Sun Aug 30 2015), they have called twice, and the second time at 8:48P ET! They don't care about privacy and DNC Registry.

Same calls received repetitively here also. I just called them back. They answered. I strongly told them that they are calling me obsessively and demanded that they remove me from their list. He asked for my phone number, which I uncomfortably gave to him. He asked for my name, which I refused to give him. He said the number was associated with a specific name (the name they always leave the message for) and asked if I know him. I said NO. He said that I would be removed from the list, active after midnight. We will see.....

I not sure why they are calling never leaves a message and I don't owe any one money. So what is the deal??? I am on the do not call list so why are they calling? I wish some one would find and report them to the DA or a lawyer and sue them and maybe they will find out how we feel

whoever these people are, they start calling my home at 8 am. When you answer the phone, there is no one on the other end. Today when they called I answered and waited on the line. I was told the call would be recorded for quality purposes. Not giving them a chance I told whoever was on the other end TO TAKE MY NUMBER OFF THERE CALLING LIST AND DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER ANYMORE. Lets see what happens. This HAS been going on for months.

Out of the blue, they started calling me today. I answered both times and no one was there. So I called their number from my cell phone and first a recording that "this is an attempt to collect a debt" message and then got a guy who said they were looking for Mr. Kincaid. I told him that wasn't my name and he said he would take my number off their list. We'll see.

I do not owe any money to any one yet this company keys asking me to pay for a debt that is not mine.

I called this number 1-855-891-8849 I got a person on line by the name of Stephanie Darballo and asked for my number and the name she gave me was not me. She said they would take my number off their call list. Their address is Midland Credit Management 2365 Northside Drive 3rd Floor San Diago CA 92108 I told them if they called again would contact police dept for them to look into. They said would be removed.

Somehow got my mother's phone number, and is harassing her, looking for me.

I TRY to understand these people are just trying to get a paycheck and put food on the table for there kids. But when they call so much I just want to jump thru the phone I'm sure you all know what I mean lol. I will tell you I used to work in a finance company many years ago and they have rules they are suppose to go by or the company can be sued but you have to record there calls how many time they call and soforth. When I worked for this particular company if someone just called and said do not call me anymore it did not matter they were put down the following day to be called. What you have to do is send a certified letter where they have to sign for it stating DO NOT CONTACT ME OTHER THAN BY MAIL . DO NOT CALL MY HOUSE AGAIN OR I WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CONTACT MY ATTORNEY. Then if they contact you by phone again they are setting themselves up for a law suit. I had to leave the job at the finance company because I could not stand how the people I worked with talked to the customers I never talked to any of them bad you never know when your going to be in the same situation they may be in.
