Crazy caller used to call me almost day and it stopped for awhile. Now they are at it again and I just received a call a few minutes and i just hang up on them and don't even bother to answer. I am really getting tired of them and they have no respect by calling you while at work. What can FTC do??

This number called my phone and would not reveal who they were... They also ask me to verify the last four digits of my social...
Everyone should know that the last four digits of your social is used to verify your identity at all banks and online payment processors...

EOScca buys 'junk debt' from cell phone companies, that the companies have given up on collecting, for pennies on the dollar, if they get even 20% of the value they make money. so they can afford to call you alot. If you are getting close to the statute of limitations in your state, do not talk to them, hang up. If you reach the statute, they can still take legal action, but their chances are minimal, and likely not worth their effort to sue for it. I get calls every few days from them for the past year, and have let them all go to voicemail. Strange, they don't leave a message. They will even call relatives, but they can not discuss your debt with them. Learn the statute in your state and the rules that go with it, and use it to your advantage

They call my phone every day and when I answer hello..they hang up so I called back to find out who it was they refuse to give any info but asked me to verify my ss# and address but wouldn't tell me who they were.. and rudely hung up on me.

wanted in my computer cause i have security issue so they said ,i get internet through cox cable and they take care of the security issue not msn who i never gave my number to at all

Collectors on a fraudulent AT&T acct created in my name. (Like other posters I think they said the name was EOS CCA? I confirmed this by calling them back with my own number blocked.) Good thing I filed a fraud alert with all three credit bureaus on the fraudulent acct created under my own name, social sec # and date of birth. I've had the same corporate cell phone acct with AT&T/Cingular, etc. for about 15 years, and it has never been in collections. I'm no where close to where they said the account was set up for service (like on the other side of the country). I tried explaining this to them from the beginning when the calls started but they continue to call me. Now I will screw around with them, just for spite.
