Called, said he was from Stifful which was a clue because, although it's spelled Stifel, it's pronounced Stee-ful, not Stiff-ful. Same MO as I have seen on some sites, gave me a reference number and this phone #. I suppose that they are a research firm hired by Stifel or another company, but I checked my Stifel account for messages and there were none. I won't bother calling back since it's obviously not important (my banker would call if it were or, at very least, there'd be a message on my account page on the web) and the guy spoke such poor English that I would have suffered trying to decipher what he wanted.

Received voice mail, July 27, 2015, from "Danny"/Pay Bill (Listen to message 3 times due to difficulty understanding.). Given Reference #:

Received second voice mail, July 28, 2015 from "Danny", same Reference number.

Called above phone number. Female answered my call. Best understanding, she said, Pay Bill Resources, what is the Reference number?" I provided Reference number. She asked me, "Who do you owe Pay Bill?" I informed her I was totally unaware of call I received and whom it regarded. She indicated she could not divulge any information. Replied, "I think this is a scam!" Hung up. My thoughts, this must be a collection agency
