This Ally called my HR at work asking for me. I hope someone deals with them. I don't know how. Thanks.
They do not take no for an answer so the collectors using this number have to be paid to collect (even before being 30 days late). This is ludicrous and BAD practices by Ally Bank. Once our loans are paid we will NEVER EVER use Ally Bank again!!
This number kept calling and not leaving a voicemail. I finally got fed up and called back. They claimed to be from Ally Financial. When I asked why they wouldn't leave a message, they said they couldn't tell me anything unless I gave them my social security number or account number. I told them I would not be giving them any information and ended the call. I checked the Ally website, and that number is not listed there. So I called Ally and they said that number is not affiliated with them. This is clearly a scam, please be careful!
Calls almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day, they hang up right after I finish my greeting. I am going to start turning them into the FCC for anoying calls, I do not care who they are, they should not be calling & hanging up like this. It is a waste of a business' time, waste of my time, ties up a line on my company phone that a customer could be calling in on. It is pointless! GMAC/ALLY if you are reading this, it is stupid & you need to change your tatics. I know that nobody from my office will call you back unless you leave a message. No message, no call back - simple as pie!
