Caller ID just lists number as " +18772132767" did not answer as the number is not known to me. Not sure if I would have answered if American Heart Association was in ID.. They stay on line long enough to trip answering machine then hang up. Totally annoying and wish I had a way to auto call them so they would see how it feels.

They called or my father who died several years ago.

Called TONIGHT during DINNER. I picked up after three rings and then HUNG UP to break the call, without answering Caller ID said "UNAVAILABLE". WE WILL NOT TALK TO TELEMARKETERS FOR ANY PURPOSE, WHATSOEVER!!!! And, Especially if they are NOT DECENT ENOUGH TO ID THEMSELVES BY NAME ON CALLER ID. If your NAME is "UNAVAILABLE" then So are WE - UNAVAILABLE. PERMANENTLY.

We are FORCED to donate to the United Way every year through our jobs. Supposedly its 'voluntary' but they REALLY put the pressure on you, if you try to opt out. They have 'contests' within the company with people who COME TO YOUR DESK and try to EMBARRASS (EXTORT) you into giving - and into UPPING your donation every year.

Out of that they SUPPOSEDLY give a portion to these NATIONAL charities; or at least the 'local chapter' of them. The deal is supposed to be, "IF YOU GIVE TO UNITED WAY (as in All us charities are 'united' and we all take a predetermined share of the total) THEN WE WILL NOT INDIVIDUALLY SOLICIT YOU." So...... ANOTHER LIE; ANOTHER PROMISE BROKEN. Welcome to CORPORATE AMERICA. So..., these GREEDY BLOODSUCKERS are STILL trying to FIND A WAY TO TRY AND EXTRACT MORE FROM THE AMERICAN WORKERS.

These charities care NOTHING about the people/conditions they PRETEND to help. Its all about ENRICHING the EXECUTIVE CORPORATE STRUCTURE, NOTHING More. My family has had a NUMBER of conditions including HEART DISEASE, KIDNEY DISEASE, GLAUCOMA, ARTHRITIS, DIABETES, and SEVERAL TYPES of CANCER. NONE of the charities related to any of these causes has EVER DONE A DAMN THING for ANY of us. ITS *ALL* about ENRICHING the EXECUTIVES who make SEVEN FIGURE (as in MILLIONS OF DOLLARS YEARLY) Salaries. PERIOD.

NATIONAL CHARITIES ARE FOR-PROFIT CORPORATIONS with TAX-exempt Status. There is NO SUCH THING as a "Non-PROFIT" If they DIDN'T make a PROFIT they would NOT exist.

So SCREW YOU, "American Heart Association." You will NOT receive ANOTHER RED CENT from THIS family, nor will we HELP you in ANY WAY FILL YOUR EXECUTIVE'S POCKETS.

AT BEST this is a TELEMARKETER for a so-called 'charity.' At worst, THIS IS A SCAM.

I'm in Do Not Call Registry. Repeated calls from this organization at dinner time and evening. I've told them not to call again, but they continue. I now have an airhorn by the phone and await their next call.
