I have been having issues with Wells Fargo marketing and even called the number and opted out just to have the problem come back after a few months. To everybody who wants to completely stop getting harrased by phone/email/mail. Do the following:
Option One: Online via Wells Fargo Online

Option Two
Please respond specify Yes or No for each of the following:
- Allow sharing of my information among Wells Fargo Companies?
- Contact me about Wells Fargo products and services by Email?
- Contact me about Wells Fargo products and services by Mail?
- Contact me about Wells Fargo products and services by Telephone?
- Mail me offers regarding Sweepstakes?
- Inform me of products and services by Interactive Message (ATM, Interactive Voice Response Unit)?
- Send me Convenience Checks?

I have been getting repeated calls from 1-877-740-3335 to my new phone number (cable line) of 1 month which I have never provided to anyone outside of my own family (I have another line I use for business calls). They finally reached me, a woman asked for me BY NAME. She told me because Wells Fargo valued my business so much they will be sending me a free gas card and then she wanted to talk to me about insurance. When I asked how she got this number and what they could tell me about my Wells Fargo account, the woman hung up on me.
I have had a no call/no share/no solicitation restriction on my accounts at Wells Fargo since the late 1990's because of their insurance cross-sales attempts at that time, and I am assured by Wells Fargo customer service that it is still in effect. So it is definitely a violation of both Wells Fargo's corporate policy and government policy that I received a sales phone call from a company associated with Wells Fargo, at a phone number that I had not even given to Wells Fargo.
Whoever this is calls frequently and does not leave a message. We are on the Do Not Call List. If we don't know who , we don't answer.
I really wish they would let us call them about a new service instead of them calling us... over and Over and OVER!!!
