I've been called by this number many times, well into the double digits. I answered some but there was nobody there, just silence. I leave some calls unanswered but they never leave a voicemail.

Once I got fed up (and also puzzled) and I called the number (1-877-839-0927). I got the recording of a human voice telling me that I should call 'during normal hours' (literally, call them at whatever time you can safely guess is “not normal” and you'll see, of hear).

Even that voice announcement delivers its passive harassment. In effect, they are they are telling me "You go guess what is normal, I'm not telling you; I am not even telling you my time zone".

One time I picked up the call and there was a REAL PERSON at the other side! She says "Are you John Doe?" "Yes I am", I respond. She says "What is your address?" This is the extreme of harassment. Somebody is calling me out of the blue and demand I give away personal data just because? Has nobody ever sued this slime? If not, maybe this is time to.
